Created in 2009 by its current director, dance artist and cultural promoter Rosario Ordoñez, Invernadero Danza is a professional dance space located in Santa María Atzompa, in Oaxaca. It is an accessible artistic development platform for young local and national artists. It offers frequent workshops, seminars, artistic residencies and performances with renowned teachers, creators and celebrities working on the national and international scene.

Invernadero Danza promotes cultural exchange, research and high-quality contemporary art, as well as the development of audiences for contemporary dance in Oaxaca. The project has grown over the years thanks to the collaboration of institutional support programs and the generosity of the Oaxacan artistic community.

"Rosario Ordóñez, dance artist from Oaxaca, is responsible for carrying out intensive, highly specialized workshops featuring professional artists of international renown. Undoubtedly, this dance program, unique in its kind, has contributed significantly to the training of local dancers."

El Jolgorio Cultural (October 2009)

"It is very important that everyone attends; it is a great opportunity to have teachers of this level that otherwise would only be accessible by leaving Oaxaca or the country itself."

Ciudadanía Express (February 2010)
